Nicholas Bryan

Bryan has a deep admiration for formalism; he approaches his painting process through the lens of color, line, and shape. His form considers that one's subjectivity is not divorced from his studio. For him, the idea of form is a balanced means to generate content in a way that is compelling. His investigation of shapes and spacial solace permeates his paintings, stylistic representations of encounters with diverse people, places, and things with minimal separation.
